Queen

Queen ist eine 1970 gegründete britische Rockband. Ihre Besetzung mit Freddie Mercury, Brian May, Roger Taylor und dem Anfang 1971 dazugekommenen John Deacon blieb mehr als zwei Jahrzehnte lang unverändert. Internationaler Erfolg begleitete kontinuierlich die Karriere von Queen: Sämtliche nach ihrem Durchbruch im Jahr 1974 veröffentlichten Studioalben erreichten zumindest in einem Land Platz eins der Charts. Mit über 150 Millionen verkauften Tonträgern sind Queen, die auch mehr als 700 Mal live auftraten, eine der kommerziell erfolgreichsten Bands.
